From guided tours where you can discover how pearls are grown, how to recognise a pearl type, distinguish an excellent quality pearl from a poor one, to picking your own pearl in an oyster or mussel, spending time with us in Armenime is truly unique and enriching.
Pick a pearl is the highlight of most people’s visit. There is nothing more magical than to discover the pearl within as the shell is open in front of your eyes. For Akoya pearls, the size and quality are graded and valued, and settings are then recommended to best suit the pearl, transforming a pearl picked that day into a piece of jewellery.

Our team is trained extensively and is passionate about sharing their knowledge about the fascinating world of pearls. Customers can get advice on pearls and jewellery, making sure they find the perfect pieces for their needs. In addition, some of our jewellery is handmade in our workshop in Armeñime.
How to Become a Tenerife Perla Guide
If you are already an official tourist guide and would like to become a Tenerife Perla guide, fill the form in. If you are not an official guide, but belong a guide Association such as APIT, you may also apply for your guide number.
Once we have received your form filled in and reviewed your application, we will send you by email a Tenerife Perla Guide agreement and will create your unique code for our tills to log your commissions. In addition of that, we will send the Tenerife Perla guide cards to the shop you have chosen in the Form.
5% DISCOUNT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS
Guide cards entitle customers you refer to us to a 5% discount on jewellery.
You will receive 10% commission on the value of all purchased made with this 5% discount card – so make sure your unique code is written on it. This is the only way we will be able to recognise the commission belongs to you.
10% COMMISSION FOR YOU
Email us at marketing@tenerifeperla.com to find out how much you have earnt in commission.
Email your invoice to both marketing@tenerifeperla.com and admin@tenerifeperla.com. The payment will be made with an accumulated minimum of 25€.
In short...
1. You apply to become a Tenerife Perla Guide by filling in the form (above).
2. We send you the agreement, your unique guide code and the guide cards.
3. You write your unique code on all the cards and hand them out to your customers.
4. Your customers get 5% off their jewellery purchase when presenting the card.
5. You receive 10% of the value of the purchases your referred customers made.
